We know “thoooose” people (was one). “Yeah, I’ve been to their events”, or, “we bought a hole for their golf outing”, or, and I appreciate it, “we’re the drink sponsor”.
And don’t get me wrong, these are terrific first steps. But there’s a difference between being around something and being part of it.
In this industry, we’ve all seen organizations come and go. Good intentions. Solid missions. Not all of them grow into something that actually makes an impact.
Women in HVACR Make an Impact Every Day
I’ve participated, shown up, and watched it grow into more than a community.
It’s become a force.
One that’s building real connections, creating real opportunities, and helping shape the future of our industry in a way that just makes sense.
And it didn’t happen overnight. This has been built over time, the right way. People showing up, putting in the work, and creating something that lasts.
So we decided to take the next step.
At ProIAQ, we’re proud to support Women in HVACR in a bigger way. Not as a checkbox. Not as a campaign. As a commitment.
We are excited to be their first-ever Guardian Sponsor.
For us, this isn’t just a sponsorship—it’s a deeper commitment to supporting the mission of Women in HVACR and the incredible work they’re doing to help women connect, grow, and build lasting careers in our industry through networking, mentorship, and education.
This Industry Has Always Been About People
Strip away the equipment, the tools, the trucks. This business runs on people.
Good technicians. Strong leaders. Trusted advisors. Mentors who take the time to show someone else the ropes.
That’s how most of us got here.
And that’s exactly what Women in HVACR has been building for more than two decades. A network where women in this industry can connect, learn, and grow.
Disruption Comes in Many Forms
People like to talk about disruption in terms of technology. New tools. New systems. New ways of doing things.
But real disruption is expanding who’s at the table. Opening doors that should have been open all along. Strengthening the industry by bringing in more talent, more perspective, and more leadership.
That’s what I see happening here.
Now is the time.
Why We Stepped Up
At ProIAQ, we’ve always believed in supporting the people who support this industry.
Contractors. Educators. Technicians. The ones doing the work every day.
Supporting Women in HVACR is a no-brainer.
Because when you invest in people, you don’t just grow a workforce. You build a stronger industry.
An Open Invitation
If you’ve been watching from the sidelines, consider this your invite.
Get involved. Show up. Support.
Not because it sounds good, but because it matters.
